Caledon Hot Springs — within Caledon Casino + Hotel is an oasis of mineral ponds, Zen gardens, floatation pools and saunas. Romansrivier — The Hoogwater Cottage - Every year between January and February, the Hoogwater Cottage opens their fig orchard to the public. Grootvadersbosch Conservancy — tucked away in the mountains between Swellendam and Heidelberg is a reserve which is home to a forest of towering redwood trees, the tallest species of tree in the world.
