Our staff are expected to find their own housing and food
Thus, it is up to you and Ministry Leader to arrange your housing, so please collaborate with them as early as possible to ensure you are set up for your arrival.

About our YWAM Base
As a training community we value live/learn study environments, as such, our Base is a vibrant hub as students of DTS and SBS live on the YWAM campus and staff come Base to have a coffee, meet with students or to work. This means that if you are regularly visiting/working on the campus you will have the opportunity to step into the buzz of base culture.
Our coffee shop, Lekker Brew, is also a great place to connect with our YWAM staff and students. We as YWAM Muizenberg take our coffee very seriously. Lekker Brew is rumoured to make the best coffee in Muizenberg and if you wish you can ask to train as a Barista and serve the base by doing a regular shift.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available for purchase by staff and served from our kitchen daily (except for rare time such as holidays or between quarters but you will be informed of this). You can pay for these meals at the Finance Office and sign up for them outside the base kitchen door by the Friday morning before the week you are booking for. Note:
The kitchen is not able at present to cater to special dietary needs unless it is a life-threatening condition.
Coin operated laundry facilities are available as well, but you will need to provide your own washing powder (coins for the machine can be exchanged in Lekker Brew).
