THE CURRENT STATUS OF OUR BASE:
Our first DTS in a year kicked off in February ‘21 and we plan on running three quarters this year - to keep things safe for the students - our YWAM premises are not accessible to staff unless necessary (you work in the Kitchen). Our students have been in quarantine together and it is vital that we do what we can to prevent COVID from spreading on our Base
We are able to meet in person again, but there is a limit to the number of people - the best way to keep up on these details is to be a part of our staff Whatsapp group - email Personnel if you need to be added. The latest information (as of March ‘21):
8:30 Monday Morning Worship - our YWAM Muiz Prayer Room is hosting via Facebook live OR to attend in person, follow the info on our Whatsapp group
8:30 Tuesday Base Intercession - our YWAM Muiz Prayer Room is hosting via Facebook live OR to attend in person, follow the info on our Whatsapp group
6 pm Thursday Base Worship is on Facebook Live via our Facebook Muizenberg page OR to attend in person, follow the info on our Whatsapp group
Last Mondays of the month - Staff Meetings are hosted over Zoom (link sent via YWAM Muiz Googlegroup)
Our staff office is open, BUT there is a strict protocol for entering the office to follow government regulations for safety - for the safety of those that regularly work there, please continue to primarily work from home if you are not a part of Training or Campus Life
Support staff such as personnel, finance, communications etc will be still be available and will primarily be working from home. Some days John will be in the office - so Whatsapp him to confirm.
